The International Froebel Society has chosen Wheelock College as the venue for its 2008 conference. Wheelock has a long association with the Froebelian tradition. The conference theme is play and learning which is at the heart of Froebel’s educational philosophy and is highly topical in today’s world.
The Center for Scholarship and Research at Wheelock College is hosting the conference. We look forward to seeing you in Boston!

Accommodations
Room reservations are the responsibility of the individual conference participant. We have identified hotels and bed and breakfasts in proximity to the conference site. At the hotels, we have arranged for a conference rate and blocked a number of rooms. To receive the hotel conference rate you must make your reservation on or before June 9, 2008 and reference your attendance at the IFS Conference. The conference rate will apply to room reservations from July 9, 2008 through July 11, 2008, and, by request, may be extended to the day before and following the conference. Hotels and B&B's in proximity to the Wheelock campus conference site.
