Transfer Applications

We are very happy that you are interested in transferring to Wheelock College. There are several ways you can apply to Wheelock. Please see below for details about the different ways to complete and submit your application as well as application deadlines. If you have any questions, please contact us.

How to Apply

  1. Fill out and submit a completed application. You can submit the Wheelock paper application (download below), the paper Common Application or the Online Common Application. Wheelock College gives equal consideration to the Wheelock application and Common Application.
    • Apply online using the Common Application.
    • Download our traditional paper application: 2009-2010 Undergraduate Application. If you would prefer to have a paper application mailed to you, please call (800) 734-5212.

    Please also submit:
  2. A graded paper from one of your college courses. It should be a minimum of 250 words and can be on any subject. If you have been out of school for more than two years, write a personal statement, 250-400 words in length, explaining why you wish to attend Wheelock College.
  3. Official high school transcripts.
  4. Official college transcripts.
  5. Academic recommendation.
  6. Application Fee - $35 for the paper application or free to apply online . Please send a check made out to Wheelock College.
  7. Financial Aid - if you wish to apply for financial aid, you must submit the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Assistance) by April 15, 2009. Instructions can be found at the financial aid website.

We do not require SAT or ACT scores from transfer students. After we receive all of the items listed above, we will notify you of our decision within a month.

Interviewing at Wheelock

Interviews are not required but are encouraged as part of the admissions process. This is an opportunity to discuss your particular educational and life experiences, as well as your goals.
