Alumni Activities and Resources
The Alumni Association offers professional
development programs, leadership and volunteer opportunities, social
events and reunions, as well as community service and advocacy initiatives.
All graduates are invited to become involved in a wide range of activities
and committees hosted by the Association throughout the year.
Class Reunions – Every five years, in the spring, your undergraduate class will be invited back to campus for a weekend of special programs, fun and festivities. See old friends, make new ones and revisit your Wheelock memories.
Wheelock Website – Wheelock has a new presence
on the World Wide Web! As you move through our Web site, you will find
events, resources, and ways to update your contact information so that
we can keep in touch with you and send you all of the latest and greatest
news about your alma mater. These pages are always changing, and we
add new pages for your convenience frequently.
Do you think there is a need we aren’t addressing? Please tell
us! E-mail alumnirelations@wheelock.edu and
let us know what you would like to see.
Alumni E-Newsletter – Each month the Alumni Relations Offices send out our e-newsletter via e-mail to all alumni for whom we have current and updated e-mail addresses for. Each month we highlight the work of our distinguished alumni, Wheelock news, alumni happenings, services, Reunion updates, and more. It is a great way to stay connected! Alumni Publications – The Wheelock Magazine is published three times each year and sent free of charge to all alumni. Keep informed about the activities of the College and current students, and learn how alumni have put their degrees to work. Keep Wheelock informed of your accomplishments for publication in the magazine’s Class Notes section.
Alumni Regional Events – Wheelock faculty and staff travel throughout the country, bringing Wheelock to you. Check the Alumni events page for dates of regional events. All alumni receive invitations to regional events in their areas, such as presentations by College faculty, family events, tours and receptions. This is a wonderful opportunity for area graduates to keep in touch and address their common interests.
Alumni Endowment Fund Grant – Each year one or two grants of $500 are given to Wheelock alumni to develop or continue a project that will enrich the lives of children and/or their families, and for which total or partial funds from other sources are not available. Applications are available through the Alumni Office and are to be submitted by April 1.
